Main Duties & Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Supply Chain Manager, who essentially takes ownership to lead the Supply Chain team, ensuring optimal supply chain operations, including that of strategic assessment and introduction of winning vendor proposals.

Key responsibilities of this Team Management Role, include:
  • Lead and oversee smooth supply chain, purchasing and logistics activities, including that of good inventory allocation to required internal and external stakeholders involved.
  • Monitor and control inventory management activities for maximum order fulfillment to end customers, including that of tactfully resolving urgent shipments to ensure on-time delivery for minimal business impacts
  • Subject Matter Expert in ensuring a smooth progress of supplier quotation and tender procedures for ascertaining winning proposals, by means of providing commercial sales folks with constructive inputs regarding supplier and related competitor cost analysis for new suppliers concerned
  • Identify and spearhead cost saving opportunities, e.g. driving sourcing initiatives for a cost effective outsourced raw material supplier pricing matrix
Candidate Profile
Singapore \xe2\x80\xa2 Permanent
  • Supply Chain & Engineering Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree with approximately 7 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Letter of Credit is highly advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across to important stakeholders
  • Excellent change management and negotiation ability and project management skills to optimally negotiate and decide on sound business approaches e.g. critical contracts and partnerships
  • Proven track records in managing supply chain planning using SAP / Oracle and Microsoft Office applications is highly advantageous
  • Acquired business knowledge of technical evaluation and manufacturing validation standards and procedures is highly advantageous
