Job Summary The Supply Chain Manager manages operations, including procurement, vendor relations, production, logistics, and distribution. Develops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operations. Oversees demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to ensure resource requirements are satisfied. Communicates with executives regarding business needs to secure resources needed to stakeholders demands and ensure delivery and/or implementation.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for production scheduling, capacity review material usage, and Supplier management. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for oversite and direction of a team that includes purchasing, inventory control, and shipping & receiving. The person in this position will play a major hands-on role in the overall success of the Operations Team . The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible and ensure on-time availability of all manufacturing supplies and components, also driving efforts to significantly improve physical inventory management practices and accuracy. This position interfaces regularly with representatives from Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Sales, and Marketing. Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business.
  • Factories visits and inspections.
  • Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
  • Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses/factories and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations.
  • Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals.
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
  • Develop effective communication and processes with the transportation and logistics vendors.
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
  • Works with freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).

Requirements

  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical, Engineering, , Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience
  • Must be native Chinese as this position require to fly to China for 3 weeks, and interact with Chinese, inspect Factories and warehouses facilities.
