JOB SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Manager position will develop and implement the overall supply chain and customer service strategy to support timely and low cost order fulfilment. He/she also manages raw material procurement and inbound logistics for Singapore contract manufacturing, fulfilling orders on time and at low cost. In addition, the manager also discuss with HQ customer service/manufacturing/e-commerce about low shipping cost and efficiency to ship domestic products to Singapore Lopal and other customers. At the same time, he/she must be able to keep the file management in order. Ultimately, he/she must be able to work closely with general managers, sales teams, contract manufacturers and suppliers to provide the best customer buying experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Generala. Plan and implement inbound logistic and supply chain strategies to support the Lopal Tech Singapore Company's overall customer buying experience, timely and low cost order fullfilment.b. Propose, discuss and implement key inbound logistic monthly KPIs with approval from General Manager.c. Optimize product production costs and identify potential process improvements to create more value for Lopal Tech and also customers/distributors.d. Identify process bottlenecks and implement/follow up with solutions in a timely manner. Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents).e. Ensure procurement and production processes meet legal requirements and no-waiver policy standards (includes product quality, labels and packagings).f. Build and maintain good relationships with sales/marketing team, CM (Contract Manufacturers) and vendors.g. A good understanding of basic product knowledge (brand name, product names, product tiers) is essential to carry out the job effectively.2. Procurementa. Plan and coordinate all raw material supply with additive suppliers/CMs to meet production schedules, with a good understanding of customer order patterns.b. Able to work and negotiate effectively with additive suppliers and other suppliers (include labels/bottles/carton) to ensure that the product cost is minimized.c. Proactively Initiate regular meetings with Singapore sales and marketing team on product demand in order to plan raw material purchase/inventory. This would prevent excessive raw materials and labels/cartons in warehouses.3. Productiona. Be the key contact and coordinator for CM activities.b. Work closely with the Marketing/Product team and suppliers on product formulations, costings, labels/cartons and manufacturing specs.c. Plan production schedule with CMs to meet delivery commitments to customers.d. Develop and implement supply plans that ensure availability of raw materials or finished products.e. Confidence to discuss and negotiate with CMs to support the customer needs at low cost.f. Fully accountable for finished product quality to meet "No Waiver" policy, which covers product quality and the accuracy of label /carton artwork.4. Inventory management:a. To manage inventory level and to reduce non-productive inventory.b. Proactively initiate regular meetings with Singapore sales and marketing team on product demand in order to plan finished product inventory. This would prevent excessive finished products in warehouses.5. Customer Servicea. Manage all order related activities i.e. documents processing, logistics coordination and all other matters that contribute to the on-time delivery of Customer Orders.b. Acknowledge the customers for their PO within 24 hours.c. Inform and update the customers about their PO within 14 days.d. Manage the lead times for competitive customer experience.e. Process and complete all SO (Sales Order), PO (Purchase Order) and drop shipment in the ERP system in a timely manner.f. Support cross functions in customer order fulfillment activities (i.e. Invoicing, AR/AP monitoring).6. Shippinga. Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues. Suggest solutions for process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.7. Document management systemsa) Upkeep filing system for all SO and PO documents for audit purposes.b) Upkeep filing system for all labels and cartons documents used by CM and vendors.c) Upkeep filing system for manufacturing specs and material safety datasheet (SDS) of all finished products for each CM.d) Maintenance of all SKU Master Data in ERPe) Input and update of the Product Master in ERPf) Input and update of the Supplier / Vendor Master in ERPg) Input and update raw material and finished product purchasing prices in ERPh) Create Barcodesi) Input and update Barcode Master recordOther responsibilities that may be assigned by -General Manager when necessary.Key Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.2. Minimum 5 years experience in a related field.3. Proficient MS Office applications, especially in Excel.4. Good understanding of the importance of customer focus organization.5. Support and work with the Sales Manager and General Manager for business success.6. Teamwork: Ability to interact, proactive to communicate, share knowledge and mentoring.7. Possesses an excellent understanding of supply chain processes and good knowledge of relevant software and SAP or ERP systems.8. Able to comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.9. Good knowledge of delivery and payment terms.10. Knowledge of lubricant manufacturing and bottle-filling process would be an advantage.11. Project management skill.12. Price negotiation skill.13. Cost accounting skill for product costing management.14. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success.15.
