Job Description

Responsible for:



1.

Daily Incoming Cargo Handling:



Cargo receive checks and acknowledgement: Perform thorough checks, acknowledge receipt, and report discrepancies Cargo sorting: Sort products according to categories or standard procedures. Cargo storage: Ensure correct location and handling. Other cargo handling related matters: Assist in routine task and report issues
2.

Daily Shipment Handling:



Cargo picking: Pick cargo as per daily shipment orders. Cargo packing: Pack cargo according to standards. Cargo verification: Verify the product against the pick list Shipment documents related matters: Print and pass documents as instructed Other shipment related matters: Inform superior if issues arise


3.

Freight and Documents:



Flight bookings: Assist in booking flight/vessel as per instructions Shipping document: Prepare standard shipping document accurately and ensure readiness for shipment.


4.

Material Control:



Inventory replenishment: Storage products Part supply for orders: Pick products * Stock take: Count products, records numbers
