Job Description
The ideal candidate
must have proven experience in procurement within the shipping industry
, with the following competencies:Review purchase requisitions received from the vessel Create Request for Quotation (RFQ) and select the best supplier Create Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure follow-up to secure on-time delivery Verify and process supplier invoices
Stock management
and anticipation of vessel needsStrong telephone skills
: the candidate must be comfortable making and receiving calls and should not hesitate to contact suppliers, vessels, or freight forwarders Aself-starter
, well-organized
, and able to prioritize tasks effectively Goodnegotiation skills
to optimize cost, delivery, and quality Ability to work closely with technical and logistics teamsJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
