Responsibilities

• Supervise a shift/ shifts operations to ensure high quality products are made at the lowest cost in a timely manner
• Supervisor team to perform physical cycle count to manage material flow to ensure that optimum inventory is maintained and avoid unnecessary line stoppages.
• Ensure accurate reporting of production and material usage and proper communication among shifts.
• Review and approve production records (manual or electronic in applicable system) for its correctness and completeness
• Assess, review and communicate staff performance and motivate and drive teamwork and facilitate SGA teams.
• Application of problem solving tools and provide guidance to his/ her supervisors in analyzing and troubleshooting quality relation issues.
• e) Application of EMS tools and provide guidance to his/ her supervisors in improving performance.
• Meet production schedule.
• I. Review daily productions schedule and take necessary actions to achieve require output.
• II. Improve production efficiency through downtime reduction, process optimization and line automation.
• III. Ensure accurate production reporting and perform cycle count to ensure inventories accuracy for all materials to avoid unnecessary line stoppages and code changes.
• IV. Optimize manpower and machine deployment.
• b) Co-ordinate all activities across all shifts within and across departments and control/ maintain optimum inventory level.
• c) Evaluate machine, equipment and processes for impact on environment and safety and identify unsafe act and conditions and correct them immediately and provide guidance to his/her supervisor in handling of near miss and accident reporting and promote and ensure correct and safe work practices. Minimizes scrap and waste.

Requirements

• Degree with at least 3 years of related work experience
• Able to commit to 12 hours shift (Day/Night)
• Ability to lead, train, communicate and motivate the workforce
• Understand and deploy company's policies, GMP and other regulatory requirements
• Good coaching skills and able to develop his/her subordinates.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
