The CompanyOur client is a leading real estate investment company listed on Asia Stock Exchanges.The RoleAs a sustainability specialist, you will carry out work within the Group covering areas such as sustainability strategies, reports, surveys & submissions to rating agencies, ESG data analytics, benchmarking & research, policy review & development and coordinating various ESG initiatives. You will work on cross-department projects related to ESG process integration.Responsibilities: Manage the development and implementation of sustainability strategies, framework and initiatives to support the Group's vision and direction Manage the preparation of sustainability reports for the Group, real estate investment trusts, private real estate and infrastructure funds in accordance with international standards Manage the preparation of and submissions to rating agencies such as GRESB, DJSI and MSCI to ensure good scores and standings within the industries Lead in the detail analysis of ESG data to identify areas of improvements and recommend solutions, conduct research and benchmark against other good practices in the market, including climate risk assessment and asset level energy audits Review and update the Group's sustainability polices and procedures to be in line with current trends and requirements (e.g., UN-PRI) and develop other sustainability content to be published at the Corporate website to publicize our ESG efforts Lead and drive continuous improvement, including identifying new business requirements, capabilities and technology adoption Coordinate the stakeholders' engagements to gather feedbacks and raise awareness internally to educate and promote a sustainability culture within the Group Coordinate various ESG initiatives in line with the Group's ESG Roadmap and liaise/collaborate in other audit, risk and compliance related projects within the department.Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Sustainability related degree At least 8 years of experience in sustainability or a related field with sustainability technical and project management background Excellent written and spoken English with strong ability to write sustainability reports of a high quality Preferably a Certified Sustainability (ESG) Practitioner with real estate industrial knowledge Excellent team player; respect and work well with all levels and across different cultures Self-starter and committed team member who can multi-task and manage various projects and assignments (may include some minimal overseas travelling)
