Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Job Responsibilities:
The position exists in Data and Analytics platform. The Principal Architect functions as an individual contributor and knowledge expert both within and outside the organization.
This role to lead solution for Data , Cloud, Gen AI & ML Architecture. Candidate leads complex projects that span multiple disciplines and ensures the success of IT and business alignment. Contributes to the planning of the overall organizational Data & Analytics strategy.

• Understand our core business objectives and build end-to-end data centric solutions to address them.
• Collaborate with BU/SU, to understand business requirements, use cases, data, and work with them to build solution, and onboard them in Analytics platform.
• Work with framework team for automation of data ingestion, processing & security that caters to the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s standards and project requirements.
• Establish best practices and guidelines to be followed by BU/SU teams working on Cloud, AI/ML and Analytics/Hadoop platform.
• Provide on-time solutions and design for initiatives and projects on Analytics/Hadoop platform.
• Architect is responsible for designing, building, and managing the data, AIML and GENAI architecture. The primary objective of the job is to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of data systems in the cloud.
• The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into data, ML & GENAI architecture solutions. This role require in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, GENAI technology, ML tools, data modelling, data warehousing, data integration, and data management best practices.
• Translates data services and/or analytics needs into solutions that leverage the Analytics (Cloud or on-Prem) and the applicable design patterns, including Generative AI techniques where beneficial.
• Define technical scope and objectives through research and participation in Solutioning phase with project team, integrating Generative AI concepts where applicable.
• Adhere to all applicable Enterprise Data Platform development policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide educational/mentoring assistance to project teams and others on Generative AI concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Platform and Engineering teams and assist engineers, when required, to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
• Work with the team in an Agile/Kanban/Dev-Ops environment to ensure quality products are delivered.

Assessing tool implementations and architectures in the analytics, DW & BI space, reviewing for gaps against business needs and industry best practices, including those related to Generative AI. * Contributing to business process design and re-engineering impacted areas, leveraging Generative AI technologies for process optimization and innovation.

• Leading proof of concepts to create break through solutions, performing exploratory and targeted data analyses to drive iterative learning.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with relevant tool and technology such as DATA, Cloud , GenAI, ML architecting and integrating the bigdata, NoSQL, RDBMS, Cloud and Distributed computing platform
• At least 6 to 8 years of working experience, preferably in banking environments
• Experience with Data Engineering or Big Data Technologies, or Data Transformation, Cloud and AI/ML.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience in architecting and building scalable data platforms.
• Experience with major Hadoop distributions like Cloudera , Amazon EMR, or GCP is essential.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. * Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams in DATA, GEN AI and ML projects.

• Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in DATA, GEN AI and ML research and technologies.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• In addition to years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, the senior role means an increased level of autonomy is expected. Expanded/multi-discipline skills are acquired and demonstrated and judgment and decision-making are more critical skills. One would be expected to handle more complex challenges, assignments, and initiatives.
