Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Own the accountability of Group Operations data steward function to perform effective data management and drive execution
• Provide governance on data & AI use-cases to ensure that Group Operations management team, as Operations Data Owners, is compliant with Group Data Policies
• Collaborate with Operations\' functional teams to drive programs such as Regulatory reporting journey, process and data issues\' reporting and resolutions
• Drive and nurture robust data governance and control environment across Group Operations
• Ensure all KPIs for data governance & data security including timeliness, accuracy, and completeness and management reporting are met
• Partner across Group Operations data community (both Regional and Locations) and Group Transformation - DataFirst to ensure flow of information and delivery against KPIs
• Lead and deliver strategic initiatives driven by Data & Intelligence team in Operations COO Office, as part of multi-year Operational Transformation program
• Develop vision, roadmap and get team to deliver on the development and adoption of Group Operations Unified Control Tower
• Drive effective stakeholder management and engagement to further the agenda of development of Unified Operations Control Tower. Collaborate and align efforts with Line Operations and Ops COO functions to succeed
• Ensure that solutions built to deliver the Control Tower are aligned with DBS Data Management platform and its components necessary, such as piping to gather data, compute & consume setup
• Provide consultative thought-leadership on use of data to derive economic value

Requirements

• Proficiency in understanding & handling of data on highly sophisticated framework implemented using Enterprise data security framework, Collibra Metadata & Cloud components.
• Detailed knowledge on broad range of functional Operations in Consumer Banking Operations, Institutional Banking Operations & Treasury & Market Operations to enable engaging discussions to solve for data issues.
• Solid experience in synthesizing end-to-end journey of Control Tower from design, develop, build and operate
• Solid experience in data tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Super Set, Spark, SQL, python, etc.
• Good knowledge about Banking Operations function such as Productivity, Efficiency & Utilization
• Good knowledge about Banking Operations in area of Consumer Banking, Institutional Banking as well Treasury & Markets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organized and structured in thinking and execution of tasks
• Proactive, possess drive, initiative and have a positive attitude
• Meticulous and display attention to detail
• Intelligent and curious to learn expansively
• Innovative and is constantly looking for ways to improve ways of working
