Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Digital Banking Lead for SMEs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the digital banking strategy and leading the implementation & commercialization of digital banking propositions tailored specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and collaborate with SME banking teams across the region to develop and commercialize digital banking propositions for SMEs, aligning it with the overall business objectives and customer expectations in respective markets.
  • Define and optimize customer onboarding journeys across liabilities, lending and other banking products (e.g., Trade Finance, Bancassurance)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, UX/UI design, marketing, data analytics, and technology to conceptualize and implement innovative digital propositions for SMEs
  • Lead the implementation of digital banking solutions in collaboration with technology and operational teams, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Drive customer adoption of digital banking solutions by developing and implementing effective marketing and communication strategies
  • Monitor and continuously improve customer engagement, customer satisfaction and performance of digital banking journeys by utilizing data analytics, customer insights, and A/B testing.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as fintech companies and service providers, to explore opportunities for strategic partnerships and integrations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, competition, emerging customer behaviour & needs, and best practices related to digital banking for SMEs, and apply that knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders, such as relationship managers, to enhance their understanding of digital banking journeys & propositions to enable them effectively engage SME customers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital banking for SMEs, internally and externally, by participating in industry conferences, speaking engagements, and thought leadership activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, computer science, or a related field. A master\'s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in digital banking, product management, or a related role, with a focus on designing customer journeys and propositions, preferably for SMEs.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, technologies, and customer experience best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and customer insights to drive informed decision making.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to digital banking for SMEs.
