Key Responsibilities

Team Managemento; Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operational Risk Controllers within the first line.o; Allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines, priorities, and business risk objectives.o; Foster a strong risk culture through training, communication, and engagement.

Operational Risk Managemento; Oversee the execution of the 1LoD operational risk framework, ensuring alignment with Grouprisk policies and regulatory expectations.o; Lead risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) across relevant business functions.o; Drive the identification, assessment, and remediation of operational risk issues.o; Monitor operational incidents and ensure proper root cause analysis and action tracking.o; Support implementation of key controls and ensure they are operating effectively.

Risk Governance & Reportingo; Prepare and present operational risk reports to senior management, business committees, andgovernance forums.o; Escalate risk issues in a timely manner.o; Track and monitor operations control metrics and key risk indicators (KRIs)

Change & Continuous Improvemento; Partner with Operations managers to provide risk insights on new products, processes, andprojects.o; Promote process improvements to strengthen controls and enhance operational efficiency.o; Ensure robust operational risk guardrails are defined, implemented, and regularly reviewed forAI/GenAI projects.

Education / Preferred Qualifications



Degree in Banking, Finance or Business Minimum 10 years' experience in operational risk management within banking or financialservices. Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, andregulatory requirements Familiarity with Consumer and Wealth Banking Operations will be an advantage Proven leadership or team management experience
