Business FunctionCorporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. • Formulate and implement the strategy to develop DBS as a leading Project Finance Advisor and Arranger in Asia, as evidenced by Project Finance league tables and market share numbers. The sectors of focus will be (a) Power (conventional and renewables), (b) Oil and Gas, and (c) Natural Resources / Mining.
• Responsible in leading the team to originate and executing new Financial Advisory mandates;
• Collaborate with Industry Bankers, Country Relationship Managers and Risk Managers:

• Craft account plan for key relationships with focus on plan to capture \xe2\x80\x9cshare of mind\xe2\x80\x9d in the area of project finance opportunities;
• Enable significant inroads into relationships with infrastructure and energy SOEs and key ministries including Ministry of Finance, as reflected by regular senior level dialogues on at least a quarterly basis and gaining invitations to RFPs for PF mandates;
• Formulate underwriting / credit standards for limited recourse financing parameters.
• Support the origination of M&A deals in Energy Renewables and Infrastructure sector
• Oversee and develop a small team of,

• Junior bankers on proficiencies in deal execution including skills in credit analysis and mitigation, financial modelling, due diligence and end-to-end credit process, and
• Senior bankers on deal origination including independence in sourcing deals, preparing pitches and presenting to clients.

• Minimum of Bachelors Degree, preferably in Finance or Accountancy
• At least 10 to 15 years of Project Finance experience with prior experience in a leadership role in Project Finance/Structured Finance business
• Proven track record of Financial Advisory and Arranging mandates in Asia where institution and candidate played key roles in origination and execution of such deals;
• Articulate and engaging, with strong presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with a passion for building a business
