Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AIX Engineer L2 to join us. The successful candidate will provide Level 2 support for IBM AIX operating systems and related technologies, ensuring the stability and performance of our client's critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2 support for IBM AIX operating systems and related technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues on IBM AIX systems. Perform system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance of AIX servers. Proficient in virtualization technologies such as SR-IOV, SEA, PowerVM Virtual I/O Server (VIOS), HACMP, and Spectrum Scale (GPFS). Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance. Perform disaster recovery support and testing on IBM AIX systems. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AIX systems into the overall IT infrastructure. Develop and maintain documentation related to AIX systems and configurations. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner. Identify and implement security measures to protect AIX systems from potential threats. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in AIX and related technologies.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing complex AIX environments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Specialist - Power Systems or IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems, are a plus.
