Job Description

:

• Implement and maintain Linux-based and Window-based systems.
• Setup, configure and manage Linux/Windows OSes on lab PCs.
• Setup, configure and manage Hyper-V and Windows-based servers.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as system backups, updates, and patches to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
• Manage user access permissions to SSH, NFS shares, Apache, Nginx, Samba.
• Manage user access permissions to RDP, file shares and IIS.
• Manage AD account and group policies management.
• Monitor and analyse server performance tuning and status monitoring, security, maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
• Create, migrate, clone, snapshot, backup, recovery and troubleshooting of Hyper-V hosted VMs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent.

Other Information:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
• MCSE or MCSA certification preferred.
• RHCE or RHCSA or ComTIA Linux+ certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge in Bash, Python and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge in Linux operating systems, including CentOS, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu OSes.
• Strong knowledge in Apache and foreman.
• Understanding of network and storage technologies, including DNS/DHCP.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
