Job Description

Responsibilities:

Administer and support Linux systems across RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian platforms. Design, deploy, and manage AWS, Azure, and OpenStack infrastructures, ensuring high availability and scalability. Manage deployments across AWS and on-prem environments using Ansible for automation and consistency. Implement and maintain Kubernetes and KVM virtualization environments for workload orchestration and resource optimization. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Git, supporting continuous integration and delivery processes. Automate configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, and custom Shell scripts. Lead the migration of monitoring solutions from Nagios to advanced platforms and Netcool, improving observability and alerting. Monitor infrastructure health using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Stack (ELK). Support RHEL upgrades, system patching, and troubleshooting activities to ensure operational stability. Administer and tune PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, ensuring performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and streamline DevOps practices.

Requirements:

Experienced professional with 12 years of strong background in Linux Administration, DevOps, and Cloud Operations. Proficient in AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and related virtualization technologies. Experienced in Ansible, Puppet, and Shell scripting for deployment and automation. Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Git. Expertise in monitoring and logging tools -- Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack (ELK), and Netcool. Skilled in database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and system troubleshooting. * Familiar with RHEL upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
