About the Client

Our client is a

leading regional bank

with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific, known for its robust technology and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements analysis, effort estimation, and design for Cards Core Issuing and acquiring processes. Collaborate with business and IT teams, preparing technical requirements, solution traceability, and functional design. Work with Business Analysts, Architects, and end-users on application development and enhancements. Present functional solution documents for stakeholder sign-off. Prepare/review technical interface specifications with technical teams. Review detailed technical design, code, test strategies, and results. Guide defect triaging. Guide testers and users in cards parameter setup for new business functions. Support system integration, user acceptance, and performance testing. Ensure post-implementation support and raise/escalate risks.

Requirements

Education

:


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 8+ years of experience in System Analysis with Card Functional Domain expertise.

Essential

:


Extensive developer experience, particularly in system integration/interfacing. Ability to support Application Delivery (ADM) in technical matters throughout the project lifecycle. Proficient in coding, scripting, and system build-ups (if necessary). Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer post-cutover. Work with senior developers and system architects to formulate technical solutions that meet security, regulatory, and architectural standards.

Key Domain/Technical Skills

:


In-depth technical knowledge of CICS COBOL, COBOL batch, JCLs, Easytrieve, VSAM, JCL, OPC, and other mainframe utilities. Strong communication skills.
