Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compute areas incl. infra. servers, applications, storage, manage data centre, manage resources, etc.
• Administration multiple windows and non-windows server roles/features comprising file server, cloud system, linux, update server and relevant infra and application servers.
• Responsible Global Identity, permission, periodic user access checkpoint, keep a good track of accessibility.
• Ensures systems smooth and efficient, be part of the monitoring by ensuring system performance, uptime, scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design. Performing upgrade and maintenance check when it is required.
• Directs daily compute operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, well verse in server issue and analysis with appropriate recommendation for change and countermeasure for improvement.
• Oversee and administer a variety of server products and services, especially the cloud server and services, virtualization systems, patch management systems, etc.
• Manage, develop and define system maintenance standard operating procedure, document best practices and strategies to be.
• Supervise compute operations ensuring server's issue are properly managed and documented. Provide guide dance and mentorship to develop teams to build competency in compute area, e.g., automate task, cloud technology.
• Take part in audit exercise, ensure of process is follow, doc is up-to-date to comply with internal and external audit.
• Take part in disaster event, involve in planning of availability, disaster recovery.
• Provide recommendation on compute optimization inc. outsourced apps and systems costing.
• Able to work on technical proposal for system upgrade, hardware change, cloud resource proposal, recurring cost related to the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new or existing systems.
• Keep track of report, keep reporting manager informed with regular reports.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing servers, Active Directory, Data centre hosting, Azure and AWS administration.
• Well verse in cloud technologies - hybrid cloud, private or public cloud.
• Work experience as a system or server administrator, work experience as a team lead in leading the server support team, team management ability.
• Work experience in supporting MNC environment, or APAC region a plus.
• Knowledge on Business planning & resource management.
• Should be a Windows, or Azure or AWS certified.
• Minimum 5-8 years experience supporting relevant compute areas.
• Some knowledge in scripting, good knowledge in OS patching, reporting, etc.
• Good knowledge in server, system, app, network and security for compute landscape a plus.
• Good problem solving and communication skill Presentation skills as essential.
