Job Description
:
Roles and Responsibilities
(a) Servers provisioning and administration;
(b) Certificates and CA administration;
(c) Servers and Services monitoring;
(d) Server maintenance;
(e) Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration;
(f) Storage space provision and administration;
(g) Backup and recovery administration;
(h) Server security administration;
(i) Capacity planning and management,
(j) Servers and Services performance and fault management;
(k) Problem identification and resolution;
(l) Report requirements;
(m) Inventory and Asset Management for Server and Storage equipment.
- Shall minimally perform server and service administration and management for the following server or virtual machine instances as part of the Services:
(b) Remote Access Services (RAS) configured on Windows, Unix or Linux OS;
(c) DNS;
(d) corppass account;
(e) CyberArk software;
(f) End-point security policy support;
(g) System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Services and Operations Management Suite (OMS);
(h) Provision of Storage space for new servers and archival requirements;
(i) Web Server - shall manage the Web servers up to Operating System (OS) which includes Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS);
(j) Application Server - shall manage the Application servers up to Operating System (OS) which includes Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS); and
(k) Database Server shall manage the Database servers up to Operating System (OS) which includes Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Operation, administration and maintenance for Network equipment and Network Management software;
- Hands-on experience in Incident and Problem identification and resolution;
- Expert in Service Request and Change management;
- Experience in Inventory and Asset Management for Network equipment;
- Handling with Cabling term contractor and Telco contractor for site survey and cabling work;
- Understanding of hardware maintenance vendor for Remedial Maintenance Services;
- Proactive network service monitoring and; Documentation and Reports requirements.
