Job Description

System Engineer

• Lead and drive the engineering design, implementation, integrated testing and commissioning of projects
• Responsible for surveillance and security system installation and deployment, checkout, integration, testing and documentation to meet project milestone
• Responsible for the setup of the VM environment & hardening of the system OS including working with the respective OEMs ensure timely project delivery
• Responsible to coordinate with external and internal stakeholders (including software team) to ensure timely project delivery
• Review the engineering tasks (includes Documentation of System Design, System Testing and Commissioning) and initiating the necessary corrective actions
• Establish system test methods and monitoring strategy to achieve success criteria
• Responsible to manage vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery to project
• Responsible for maintenance of CCTV surveillance and security system
• Report to Project Manager on project technical progress
• Required to work night shift during project delivery

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in implementing surveillance and security systems
• Knowledge in Public Security and Safety (PSS) domain, preliminary in ICT and end-to-end secure advanced video sense making solutions
• Knowledgeable in Windows/Linux hardening, security safety testing, and system configuration
• Exposure to scripting knowledge, software knowledge will be added advantage
• Ability to work with multi-technology domains and multiple discipline projects
• Flexibility to learn new areas and able to implement multi-systems integrated solution
• Experience in IP networking will be an advantage
• Working experience in networking and network security technologies (CCNA, CCNP)
• Working experience in Database Administration (MS SQL, Oracle)
• Working experience in designing IT technical solutions for Tenders submission
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming language (.NET, C++, Java)

• Good interpersonal, strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences
• Strong organizational abilities to manage a technical team
• Industrious, self-motivated, independent, focus on results and execute instructions without much supervision & able to deliver jobs on time
• Willing to learn, result-oriented, good attitude
• Working location is in Jurong East
