Responsibilities

• Assist the Business Development team by creating technical proposals, estimating project PV capacity, and determining costs through detailed site assessments and drawing analyses.
• Generate design drawings such as Single Line Diagrams, Module Arrangement Layouts, and Inverter Arrangements using AutoCAD software.
• Develop design specifications and functional project requirements.
• Create comprehensive system designs for PV projects, including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, and specifications for balance of system components and interconnection details.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of factors influencing PV system performance.
• Utilize software simulations to assess solar photovoltaic system performance and energy production. Perform design calculations, including voltage drop and fault current analysis.
• Provide engineering assistance during installation and review and approve engineering drawings submitted by contractors.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and requirements outlined in signed EPC contracts.
• Collaborate with the Operations and Maintenance Team to assess system performance and enhance engineering designs.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical engineering discipline
• 2 years experience in Solar PV system design / engineering
• Familiarity with different PV system types (Floating / Land based)
• Familiar with design software such as PVSyst, AutoCAD, Sketchup etc.
