Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end data migration projects ensuring minimal downtime and high availability. Perform performance analysis, capacity planning, and technology refresh activities for large-scale storage systems. Design and govern enterprise-wide SAN/NAS architectures across hybrid environments, delivering resilient, scalable, and compliant storage solutions Administer fabric zoning, provisioning, and backup/recovery solutions across multi-vendor storage platforms. Oversee incidents, change, and problem management ensuring ITIL-compliant operations. Collaborate with OEMs and vendor partners to resolve critical issues and manage escalations. Serve as escalation authority for complex incidents, root-cause analysis, and long-term remediation strategies. Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and trainingto internal teams post-project delivery. Contribute to automation initiatives to optimize storage management and reduce operational overhead.

Requirements:

10+ years of hands-on experience in SAN/NAS storage administration and consulting. Expert-level knowledge of storage systems. Proven mastery of migration and replication technologies. Solid understanding of fabric management (MDS, Brocade DCX, FCIP routers, zoning, ISL, and SAN topologies). Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux, Windows servers, and scripting for storage automation. Strong track record in disaster recovery, backup administration, and capacity optimization. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver enterprise-class storage solutions supporting thousands of servers and petabyte-scale workloads. * Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
