Purpose of the Job

• Member of the Signalling team in charge of delivering a Signalling System to end customers for the Thomson & East-Coast Line.
• Site based SYS Engineer involved in test & commissioning activities for Thomson Line project
• Organize and FollowUp functional TTR (Functional Testing) activities both internally and with Customer
• Interface with Design team for site anomaly Analysis.
• Interface with Customer and Other project contractor (SWC) for Progress and Planning meetings
• Interface will be focus on the Overall SIG System
• Direct interface with Customer and Other Contractors

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• FollowUp TTR Activities (Planning, Procedure evolutions, Reporting)
• Overview Functional T&C procedure in order to validate the correct adherence to specifications
• Analyse site testing based on the approved procedures and specification
• Support the T&C manager in the daily tasks (e.g. As Installed SW Configuration and authorisation, Progress Report,\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Represent Alstom and T&C Manager in TTR meeting with customer, operator and other SWC
• Interface with Engineering team for problem solving and planning

Health and Safety

• Respect H&S rules applied by : ALSTOM, customer, Local regulations
• Ensure H&S rules are shared inside the local RC Engineering team
• Punctual activities on working site (Signalling Equipment Room, Track, OCC) might be needed during installation and T&C.

Experience

• 5+ years\' experience in T&C, preferably Communication based signalling systems for Mainline and/or Urban applications
• Experience in Customer Relation
• Experience in redaction of technical documents
• Knowledge in signalling
• ATS Knowledge is a plus
