Responsibilities

Lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple domains, including virtualization, servers, storage, networking, and database systems. Oversee day-to-day operations and provide technical guidance for a small team (minimum 5 members) Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems through proactive monitoring, tuning, and patching. Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity procedures Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for problem resolution, upgrades, and system improvements. Maintain compliance with industry security standards, including CIS hardening and ITIL processes.
Technical Operation Domains


(a) Virtualization Platform Management


Manage VMware or Hyper-V environments Implement high availability, live migration, and replication strategies.
(b) Windows Server Management


Manage large-scale Active Directory environments. Configure failover clustering, load balancing, and performance tuning.
(c) Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration


Perform performance tuning and security hardening. Use Red Hat Satellite for patch management and system administration.
(d) Hypervisor Configuration & Management


Manage VMware vSphere clusters and high availability setups. Implement Hyper-V live migration and replication.
(e) Rack Infrastructure Setup & Maintenance


Design and implement efficient rack cooling solutions. Manage high-density server rack power distribution.
(f) Backup Solutions Design & Execution


Implement and manage enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault). Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
(g) Network Infrastructure Management


Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls. Implement software-defined networking (SDN) solutions.
(h) Database Services Administration & Optimisation


Tune performance for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other major databases. Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions for databases.
(i) Storage Configurations & Management


Configure and troubleshoot LUNs and storage-related issues. Manage live migration and replication for storage systems (e.g., PureStorage).

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Must be eligible for security clearance in Singapore. Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, covering at least 3 of the technical domains listed above. Experience leading a team of at least 5 members. Expertise in CIS hardening for Windows and RHEL systems, GPO deployment, and security assessment/remediation ITIL Foundation v4 Certified. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, and VLANs. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
