Job Description
System Reliability Engineer
:
- Closely collaborate with Maintenance Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within the timeline, cost and scope
- Manage and oversee maintenance documentations, subcontractor and maintenance matters
- Perform System Setup, Database setup, resolve technical & design issues.
- Support for IT infrastructure comprising Microsoft OS
- Basic setup of Network switches L2 & L3 and able to perform network configuration of all the network devices within the project
- Debug and troubleshooting IT-related and security system issues.
- Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engineering in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security or Equivalent (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Good interpersonal skills, strong organizational and coordination skills
- Experience in IT Management Systems Deployment, Project Management or Equivalent experience
- Proficient in Networking and Windows OS
- Knowledge in any of the following: Cybersecurity, SQL management studio application and database table, Vulnerabilities Assessment, windows patching or software development knowledge (are preferred but not a strict requirement) will be a strong plus
- Able to perform work independently and a team player
- Working location: Toggle between STE office (Ang Mo Kio Street 65) and different maintenance/project sites.
- Working hours: Mon to Fri, 0830 to 1800H. Expected to work beyond the working hours on certain days and timing dependent on work exigence (+ standby at times).
- Contract role: Contract first. Conversion to permanent position is very much determined by work performance
- Project: Government Security Maintenance and Projects work
