System Test Engineer

Job Description
:
- You will be responsible in system testing activity, accountable for assigned work including system testbed wiring and commissioning, system test execution for Rockwell Automation product, including controller and I/O platform.
- You are going to work with System Test leads and others team members closely in executing firmware centric system testing, discover the system related product failures, investigating and characterized the failure and report product defects promptly using assigned tools and template.
- You are required proficient PLC knowledge to ensure defects are characterized accurately by developer and root cause is clearly understood in verification the resolution provided by developer.
- The scope of work is generally focused on system test engineering tasks to ensure quality Rockwell Automation products are developed.
\xc2\xb7 Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and expertise in Test Engineering processes (Agile, continuous integration, waterfall) and methods for test case design and test coverage optimization.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and expertise in test automation methodologies.
\xc2\xb7 Programming experience in ladder programming.
\xc2\xb7 Programming experience in scripting languages will be advantageous (preferably Python)
\xc2\xb7 Experience/knowledge of industrial automation and PLC application
\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Rockwell products, in particular with IO\xe2\x80\x99s, controller\xe2\x80\x99s families, and RSLogix5000/500 Application Software will be advantageous
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated a strong technical and problem-solving skills
\xc2\xb7 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in test engineering
\xc2\xb7 Comfortable with embedded system knowledge
\xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in teams, action-oriented, and possesses strong drive for results
\xc2\xb7 Passionate with testing and curious to explore.
\xc2\xb7 Report progress to managers, leads and escalate issues on time to project or management.
