Job Description

We are looking for MIS System Engineer to join a fast growing IT software company in Singapore!

Working Hours: Mon-Fri office hours

Working Location: Tanjong Pagar (hybrid work arrangement)

Salary up to $4,500 + AWS + Bonus (2-3 months) * Permanent position, great working culture and environment!

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to offices in Singapore as well as other remote offices around the region.
• Functioning as a single point of contact for all change/service requests from users
• Troubleshooting of all software/hardware related issues for users.
• Ensuring Daily Backups are completed in timely fashion.
• Facilitating the onboarding/offboarding processes of new hires and leavers including the setting up of IT equipment
• Configuration of Office Equipment such as Copier, Printers, PC/Laptop, Mobile Phone, Network Peripheral Devices(i.e. firewall, switch, etc).
• Updating the Software licenses and IT Inventory record to ensure that assets are well maintained and up to date
• Creating & ensuring that all Infrastructure/Network/Software documentation are up to date
• Manage websites, domains, and other third party services.
• Providing system training to end-user where required
• Performing general preventive maintenance tasks on laptops, desktops, EC2 instances, and any other company authorized equipment.
• Ensuring all endpoints are properly configured with company approved secured anti-virus & DLP solutions.
• Monitor, Assist and Track the progress of projects to ensure smooth execution to meet objectives & deliverables as set by business teams.
• Supporting the project teams in getting tech feedback to contribute back to CI/CD.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technologies with min 2 years experience with Servers, Databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management tools.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
• Individuals with AWS Certifications are preferable but not required.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Working understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing & Switching, etc).
• Hands-on Experience with Office365 suite as well as Google Workspace (GSuite).
