Systems and Quality Program Manager (SQPM)Description -This role will be based in Personal Systems Singapore Development Center, reporting into the Senior R&D Manager. As part of the HP Personal System Global R&D team, this center will focus on Personal Systems solutions and products development, NPI and Sustaining.Job SummaryThis role is responsible for managing and leading multiple NPI and Quality programs, developing program strategy, and driving innovation. The role collaborates with relevant cross functional partners to keep them informed of program progress, quality status, escalations, and evaluates program plans for compliance. The role proactively identifies areas of continuous improvement and implements changes in products, processes, developing support requirements like budgets and resource plans, and reporting progress and status to the program stakeholders. The role ensures accurate documentation of NPI/quality processes and involves gathering customer feedback, conducting root cause analyses for quality issues, and driving corrective and preventive actions.ResponsibilitiesManages and leads key programs involving end-end cross functional program teams.Drive engineering development, quality improvement and implementation process for multiple products or service offerings.Directs the development of overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements and workstreams.Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal/external development partners; ensures alignment with unit strategy and owns responsibility for overall program profit and loss management.Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to cross functional stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.Monitors and enforces project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors.Works with engineering project managers, product design, operations, to identify and resolve the risks associated with early builds.Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities.Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for compliance with program management guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.Supports program communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating project and program plans.Ensures that the quality project/program has completed the relevant gate requirements and that deliverables have been properly reviewed by stakeholders.Stays up to date with industry-specific regulations and standards related to Personal Systems and ensures that the assigned project/program remains compliant with all relevant quality requirements.Gathers and analyzes customer feedback, complaints, and suggestions related to the quality project/program, and leverages this information to help the senior stakeholders drive corrective and preventive actions.Facilitates root cause analysis investigations for quality incidents or deviations in the assigned project/program and supports the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.Education & Experience Recommended
