Responsibilities

• Administrate and support all installed system and infrastructure in Linux environment
• Carry out system operation support tasks e.g backup & restore, OS patching and Security Hardening, Firmware Upgrade, System Performance Monitoring and Tuning, System Enhancement
• Carry out system implement tasks e.g install, configure, test and maintain operation system, application software and support systems in accordance to the architecture design
• Implement changes in accordance to service request/change request to resolve technical issues, problems detected or to enhance system capability
• Maintain security policy, access rights, authentication and authorisation, access control, etc
• Liaise with product principle for implementation, maintenance, support and issue/ problem resolution
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency, automation and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering / Information Systems or related discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant experiences in a medium/ large enterprise environment.
• Solid hands-on experience of Linux server installation, configuration, system
• implementation, administrative support and technical resolution.
• Some experience in system hosted on premise and in Cloud environment (e.g. AWS (preferable), Azure)
• Working experience on two or more of system technologies such as Cloud Services, Active Directory, Load Balancing, LDAP Service, Database, Patch Management, Backup and Restore, System Monitoring, etc
• Some experience in Linux scripting, shell scripts, Python, Java and etc. Knowledge on JSON, YAML, HTTP, REST, is added advantage.
• Basic networking knowledge (e.g. TCP/IP, network segmentation, network routing, DNS)

Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 1 Year Agency Contract employment
