:The Job

• Subject matter expert for Linux, Solaris, Oracle Linux and Oracle Web Logic
• Provide level 2 & 3 technical support to ensure due fulfilment of service level
• Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Work with application team for porting, patching, system UAT and staging
• Ensure systems and data security by conducting regular security assessments and audits, monitoring systems traffic and system logs for security breaches, and implementing security protocols and measures to safeguard data and systems integrity.
• Identify opportunities to improve and update software and systems through evaluating existing systems for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement based on technological advancements and organizational needs, and implementing upgrades and enhancements.
• Proactive exploration of the system security and establish compliance with policies/procedures through continuous reviews and audits
• Project implementation, new system design and vendor management
• Backup as a System Admin for Windows systems

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree qualification in Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering of relevant experience
• Strong technical background with minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in administering and security hardening of Linix and Solaris etc.
• Strong experience in the administration of Weblogic Application Server and software rollout.
• Strong experience in the administration of RedHat and Oracle suite of products.
• Possess good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Willing to work out-field and provide after office-hours remote standby support.
• Ability to work independently and provide outstanding customer support in a fast-paced environment.
