What the role is:As a Systems Engineer of the Cyber Security Engineering Center (CSEC) Mobile Security team, you will be responsible to assist the Team Lead in driving efforts to safeguard mobile devices and applications against emerging threats. You will be part of the team in enhancing the security of mobile devices and applications, contribution to national cybersecurity policy and guidelines development, and elevating mobile hygiene standards across Singapore\'s digital landscape.What you will be working on:Responsibilities As a Systems Engineer of the Cyber Security Engineering Center (CSEC) Mobile Security team, you will be responsible to assist the Team Lead in driving efforts to safeguard mobile devices and applications against emerging threats. You will be part of the team in enhancing the security of mobile devices and applications, contribution to national cybersecurity policy and guidelines development, and elevating mobile hygiene standards across Singapore\'s digital landscape. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct vulnerability assessment of new mobile technologies and applications to pre-emptively identify how emerging threats could exploit them. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct risk assessment to analyse mobile threats, such as malware and scam to identify threat vectors and suggest mitigations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate the efficacy of mobile security solutions, not limited to MDM, MTD, RASP, Anti-virus, against current and evolving mobile threats such as malware, and scams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Have a strong understanding of how each solution can mitigate specific aspects of the mobile threat landscape and contribution to the overall mobile security posture. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and prioritise mobile security risks based on the understanding of the current and evolving mobile threat landscape through assessing threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impact. Thereafter, propose mitigations or workarounds to address issues found in our mobile landscape.What we are looking for:Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Application Development or related field \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java \xe2\x80\xa2 At least three years of experience working on application development and/or security, with focus on mobile technologies \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of mobile technology domains not limited to authentication, authorisation, data storage, cryptography, network communications \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of mobile vulnerabilities and threats, such as malware \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with mobile security testing tools \xe2\x80\xa2 Technically hands-on and curious about inner workings of technology \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical and conceptualisation skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Communications and interpersonal relationship skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Driven and capable to work independently If you share our passion to make a difference in the cyber security landscape, take up the challenge and apply now.
