Systems Engineer (Ref: KH683)

The Systems is to manage and administer the organization\xe2\x80\x99s
Windows, Linux, AD, Office365 and Cloud environments and act as backup for the
management and administration of the corporate network.
The Engineer is responsible for managing and monitoring all installed systems and
infrastructure, ensuring optimal efficiency and the highest level of availability. He will
also provide technical support on various technical issues and problems relating to
hardware and software as well as network connectivity in the organization.

The Job
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide technical support and administration on Windows, Unix, AD, Office 365
and Cloud environments.
\xef\x82\xb7 Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, database, system
software and management tools.
\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor and respond to all system alerts and provide daily technical support in
terms of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and
other network and system problems.
\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborate with CyberSecurity team and perform regular system and security
patches on a timely basis.
\xef\x82\xb7 Perform incident investigation and resolution, and root cause analysis and
problem resolution.
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate with IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager for capacity and
availability management.
\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor IT tickets and provide appropriate resolution on a timely basis.
\xef\x82\xb7 Adhere to standard IT service delivery processes in accordance with IT
policies and procedures.
\xef\x82\xb7 Support all internal and external audits for IT Infrastructure.
\xef\x82\xb7 Act as backup for management and administration of network, such as routers,
switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Document and update infrastructure configuration and architecture diagrams.
\xef\x82\xb7 Any other related duties/tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or Director,
Information Technology.

The Candidate
\xef\x82\xb7 Diploma / Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science / Information
Technology or equivalent.
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in supporting Windows, Linux, Office 365 and Cloud
environments in a mid- to large-sized end-user organisation.
\xef\x82\xb7 Certification in Microsoft, Red Hat and/or VMware preferred.
\xef\x82\xb7 Good knowledge of Windows Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, DHCP
and networking protocols.
\xef\x82\xb7 Certification in Cisco, AWS, Security and ITIL is advantageous.
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiarity with any monitoring tools is advantageous.
\xef\x82\xb7 A motivated person with the ability to work independently, a good team
player and goal-oriented individual.
\xef\x82\xb7 Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
