Collaborate with local country accountants in Singapore and APAC countries under the supervision of the tax manager.
Involved in preparing and reviewing VAT/GST/WHT returns for APAC countries. Support Indirect Tax Audits.
Advise regional indirect tax related matters to various departments, including sales, purchases, accounts payable, credit, and operations
Analyze and implement best practices and internal controls, understand and configure the indirect tax determination engine.
Support adhoc projects such as ERP, transformation, e-invoicing, etc., with hands-on bank reconciliation.
Prepare tax-related account reconciliations against trial balances for both direct and indirect tax.
Requirements:
At least bachelor\'s degree in accountancy or taxation, with CPA/CA completion (or near completion) preferred.
Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the tax field, with accounting experience preferred.
Have strong knowledge of pertinent tax laws, codes, and regulations.
Understand accounting theory, principles, and practices and their application.
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Display meticulousness, proactivity, and strong analytical skills.
Be a versatile team player with robust communication and interpersonal skills.
