As a Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in our tax team, contributing to various aspects of tax compliance and supporting our Tax Directors/Managers in delivering top-notch services.

Make an Impact by

• Assist in tax compliance functions for both direct and indirect tax including, but not limited to, preparation/review of Singapore corporate income tax returns, quarterly GST returns and withholding tax clearance.
• Provide support to Tax Directors/Managers on the handling of direct and indirect tax queries, current and deferred tax provision calculations, tax automation and other tax-related improvement initiatives.
• Provide support to Tax Directors/Managers on queries raised by Business on potential tax implications and mitigating measures for business arrangements such as cross-border transactions and e-commerce and digital economy product proposals and offerings.
• Provide support to Tax Directors/Managers on knowledge sharing with Business to ensure Business\' awareness of tax issues, risks and regulatory developments relevant to their operations, whilst establishing proper commercial knowledge and understanding.
• Provide support to Tax Directors/Managers on projects (including mergers & acquisitions, new business segments and key product launches, post-transaction reviews and so forth).
• Assist Group Tax to continually improve work processes including, but not limited to, tax preparation and documents retention processes.
• Provide general administrative support to Group Tax.

Skills for Success

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Tax and/or Information Technology. Prior experience or knowledge in accounting or tax fields will be an added advantage.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel features such as formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, VBA and macros
• Adept in other Microsoft office applications
• Proficiency in SAP accounting system (Optional)
• Good team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, detailed oriented and work independently with minimal supervision.
