Report to the PLC Engineer/ Tunnel M&E Manager Minimum of 5 years direct experience of working on CREG, STEC or Herrenknecht Tunnel Boring Machines as TBM Mechanic TBM Mechanical Supervisor Trouble shooting of Electrical Errors on the TBM/ STP via Visualisation of the interlocks and required releases in the PLC programme Carry out maintenance and general repairs/ rectifications of low voltage electrical equipment and systems Assist the Mechanical/ Electrical and Operations Staff to target minimal downtime of the TBM May need to be redeploy to other projects from time to time Relevant experience in TBM projects (minimum 6m diameter) Diploma or Trade Certification BCSS and BCSS Tunnelling Must be able to perform day or night shifts underground on the TBM (including weekends and public holidays) Must be able to provide previous employer reference letters and contacts of two referees * LTA or PUB projects experience is an added advantage.
