:Details of the Division and Team:The candidate must have proven good technical skills & leadership in order to oversees the technical aspects of a delivery team/vendor by making software engineering and design decisions and supervising system modifications in response to business needs. To meet the requirements of the business, the candidate will actively participate in the technical design and architecture design of the application or its components, proposes appropriate solution to use and promotes re-usability of existing components. That\xe2\x80\x99s why we are committed to providing an environment with your development and wellbeing at its center.You can expect:Flexible benefits plan including virtual doctor consultation servicesComprehensive leave benefitsGender Neutral Parental LeaveFlexible working arrangements25 days of annual paid leave, plus public holiday & Flexible Working ArrangementYour key responsibilities:Analyze, design, and implement technological solutions for Private Banking processes in alignment with business requirements.Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both technological aspects related to Private Wealth-Management business functions.Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with existing banking systems.Coordinate architectural analysis on a wide range of enterprise-wide solutions with architecture team.Application migration to Cloud solutions (eg: GCP)Evaluate IT risks and deliver solutions and adhere to DB IT policies and procedures in line with governance frameworks.Contribute to the planning of application/infrastructure architecture, releases, and configuration changes.Design appropriate NFR metrics for projects and reporting on KPIs\xe2\x80\x99 and Quality indicators.Provide technical guidance to internal teams and external vendors, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Required to bridge gap between business and engineering teams and link business needs to suitable IT solutions.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impact Treasury modules (FX), Structure Products (SP) and provide strategic insights to management.Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding of requirements on both sides.Perform system testing, troubleshooting and provide-post implementation support for Private banking solutions.Collaborate with IT risk teams to ensure the implementation of robust security measures for Internal banking systems.Maximum operational availability and stabilityYour skills and experience:Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Core Java, including its standard library, industry-standard frameworks, and design patterns along with an understanding of event-driven architecture.Knowledge of financial products and e2e system workflows covering the various financial products used by the Private Bank business.Techno functional engineer with both technical expertise and Product expertise with In-depth knowledge of the Private Banking functions.Solid understanding of the modern SDLC tool stack, including Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, TeamCity, and similar platforms.Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Programming & Systems Analysis or Science (Computer Studies)Track record in fostering Agile environment, adapting to changes quickly and delivering fast results.Proficient in relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQLProven experience in the design and delivery of highly complex and performance/cost efficient distributed systems.Exposure to IT project management and AGILE.Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office.
