Established in 2011, Matt\xe2\x80\x99s Education is an enrichment centre in the West region specialising in English, Maths and Science classes. Over the years, we have always been steadfast in our belief that the enjoyment of childhood and pursuit of academic success can be in the same melting pot. Our personal and unconventional approach to tuition has seen us featured in local dailies such as The Straits Times, CNA and Lianhe Zaobao. Currently, we have two outlets - Jurong West and Clementi. In addition to our tuition offerings, Matt\xe2\x80\x99s Education also works closely with MOE schools on public speaking training and other English-related projects throughout the year.

Full-time Teacher (English and Maths / Science) At Enrichment Centre

Are you looking for a career in private education? Do you have a passion for guiding students through their academic journeys? Matt\xe2\x80\x99s Education is looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our team. This full-time role will see the candidate personally undertaking classes at our tuition centres, as well as engaging in curriculum and programme development work.

This position is only open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents, who are able to handle at least two of the three teaching subjects (English, Math, Science).

Job scope

• Undertake group tuition classes (English and Maths/Science) at the primary and secondary levels

• Work closely with the founders to develop the curriculum at Matt\xe2\x80\x99s Education

• Work closely with the team on pitching and undertaking enrichment programmes at schools

Job requirements

• Have at least a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree

• Strong command of the English language

• Able to teach two of the three subjects offered at our centre (English/Math/Science)

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, but prior teaching experience would lend favourable consideration

• Have the patience, passion and willingness to guide and mentor the younger generation

• Comfortable with conducting lessons in the classroom

• Able to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend on a permanent basis

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
