, you will play a vital role in nurturing children's curiosity, confidence, and creativity through meaningful learning experiences. You will work closely with the Curriculum Specialist, sharing both teaching and care responsibilities, and ensuring that every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

Developing the Whole Child

Curriculum and Pedagogy

Collaborate with the Curriculum Specialist to plan and implement an age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Odyssey's inquiry-based pedagogy. Apply effective and positive classroom management strategies to support a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Observe and document children's progress to design intentional and differentiated learning experiences. Foster trusting, respectful relationships with children through meaningful daily interactions.

Learning Environment

Work collaboratively to design and maintain an inviting and purposeful learning environment that promotes exploration, discovery, and creativity.

Health, Safety and Nutrition

Adhere to operational standards and routines to ensure children's care, safety, and well-being in accordance with Odyssey's health and hygiene protocols.

Collaborating with Families and Communities

Build warm and positive relationships with families through daily communication and parent engagement. Participate in school events, community partnerships, and parent education programmes to strengthen the home-school connection.

Building Professional Capacity

Engage actively in professional learning and reflective practices to enhance teaching skills and contribute to a collaborative learning culture. Demonstrate professionalism, ethics, and integrity aligned with Odyssey's philosophy and values.

Building Organisational Capacity

Contribute to a cohesive and collaborative team culture. Embrace Odyssey's vision and mission through participation in school initiatives, community outreach, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma in Preschool Teaching (ECDA-recognised) or equivalent.

Language Proficiency:

Strong command of spoken and written English.

Experience:
