Teaching Assistant In Political Science

Job Description
We invite applicants for full time Teaching Assistant position in the Department of Political Science. This would be for one-year contract period with a salary that commensurate with qualifications and experience. The full time TA would be teaching in the following areas:
- Political Science
- Global Studies
- Successful candidate will carry out the following duties
- Attend lectures for those modules he/she is teaching
- Conduct tutorial section
- Mark CA and exam scripts
- Provide students\' consultation to clarify doubts on the modules
- Assist in examination matters (e.g. invigilation duties)
- Key in of module marks online
- Any other work related and admin responsibilities as required by the department
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have at least a good undergraduate Honours degree in Social Science (e.g. Political Science) or equivalent. Prior teaching experience preferred but not essential. Good interpersonal skills and collegiality. Good spoken and written communication skills.
