Established in 1972, Dover Court International School in Singapore is a leading inclusive international school with British heritage, serving international families, set on a green 12-acre site about 20 minutes from the Singapore CBD. We also offer courses that focus on English, mathematics, life skills and employability through ASDAN programmes.All students are involved in a wide range of co-curricular activities, mainly run by teaching staff. • Support learning and teaching inside and outside the classroom.
• Work with small groups, extending their learning based on individual targets and formative assessment as directed by teacher.
• Assist class teacher in assessment and record keeping as directed.
• Be involved with school trips and extra-curricular activities.
• Foster positive and professional relationships with all children, colleagues, parents and the wider community.

Planning and Preparation

• Undertake routine tasks and supervisory as required.
• Assist teachers with preparation of class materials to support the individual needs of specific learners.
• Ensure the teachers have all the resources required for teaching.

Engagement and Interaction

• Demonstrate knowledge and an understanding of school Safeguarding policy and will follow the appropriate reporting procedure.
• Follow all the guidance laid out in our Code of Conduct, DCIS Teaching Assistant Standards, Child Safeguarding Policy and related policies.
• Be aware of and follow our Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring student well-being is our highest priority.
• Carefully observe students and actively supervise and participate during break duties.
