Founded in 2011, Empact is a leading social enterprise with a mission to build the capacity of social organisations (referred to as non-profit organisations and social enterprises) in Singapore and the region. Our aim for our capacity building efforts is to empower these social organisations to be empowered for greater impact. Through our cross-sector collaboration with sector developers, grantmakers, corporates and volunteers, we bridge the capacity gap of the social sector by channeling talents, skills and resources to co-create innovative solutions to address the various needs of social organisations. To date, Empact has impacted and empowered more than 2,000 social organisations in the region, with a contribution of savings amounting up to $9 million worth of professional services that have been rendered pro bono for the social sector. In 2022, Empact won the President\xe2\x80\x99s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards City of Good (for Pro Bono School with our partners, Procter & Gamble and Credit Suisse) and was also recognised as a Champion of Good.
DESIGNATION : Team Lead and Principal Consultant, Impact & Strategy

RESPONSIBILITIES
An Overview As part of our capacity building efforts, we provide training and consultancy services on impact measurement and programme evaluation. Our clients range from government agencies, foundations and charities / social enterprises. Currently we see the increased awareness and demand for better measuring of impact and outcomes. Hence we have set up a dedicated team called Impact & Strategy to further grow this practice. We are looking for an experienced individual as the Principal Consultant to lead and grow the Impact & Strategy service. You will be spearheading the business development efforts and taking care of a team of 5 members. Further you will be guiding the team to oversee the project delivery. We envision you can be the spokesperson on all things impact related and be respected as a subject matter expert in the ecosystem. You will be reporting to the CEO and work alongside other team leads across the organisation. This is truly an opportunity for individual who are passionate about impact measurement. Roles and Responsibilities This job is for you if you are:

  • Passionate about everything relating to social impact measurement

Your job role will cover:
  • Project Director / Client Management: Direct, oversee project, and act as Client Relationship Director for mid to high complex projects to ensure achievement of overall project KPIs and good standing client relationship.
  • Business Development & Lead Generation: Develop mid to high complex project proposals and identify potential leads from existing projects to contribute to Business Development and healthy Sales Pipelines.
  • People Management: Effectively manage the Impact & Strategy team. This includes all aspects of people management including workflow management, problem solving, providing guidance, leave management, performance management and Learning & Development.
  • Design & Innovation, Strategic Partnership: Identify and scope innovation ideas, knowledge management, and contribute to strategic partnerships to support business growth and competitiveness in the market.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, majored in Business, Human Resource, Psychology, Sociology, Training & Development or other related fields
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, i.e. in consulting/ advisory, business process improvement, organisational development, training and development, programme evaluation, business analytics
  • Experienced in designing and implementing impact measurement, programme evaluation or equivalent projects using qualitative or mixed methods
  • Possess problem-solving, analytical & conceptual thinking skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service oriented
  • Experienced in business presentation, business development, and project management
  • Have familiarity of the community and social service sector (landscape, key agencies, resources and social agencies)
  • Have prior experience in managing a team
