Team Lead, Risk Management
Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team in monitoring credit and market risks, implementing timely mitigation actions to minimize exposure.
• Review and enhance risk management policies, frameworks, and system workflows in compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Review and approve credit applications for retail, high-net-worth and institutional clients, ensuring consistency with internal risk appetite and credit policies.
• Evaluate core business processes to identify potential risk exposures and recommend robust control measures.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and due diligence on new product launches and business initiatives, working closely with development teams to automate risk controls through system integration.
• Provide risk advisory support to business units, embedding risk considerations into strategic and operational decision-making processes.
• Liaise with auditors and respond to inquiries from external regulatory authorities, including MAS and SGX.

Requirements
Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Risk Management, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in securities and derivatives risk management, preferably within a brokerage firm.
• Strong proficiency in margin financing and derivatives products, including futures contracts, stocks & index options, and options on futures.
• Comprehensive understanding of MAS and SGX regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with international markets such as the United States, Japan, Hong Kong and China Connect is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
