Job Description
Our client is a 3rd party full-service supplier of logistics and engineering solutions. Currently, our client is seeking for Team Leader (Warehouse Operations) to be part of the team.
The Team Lead is responsible for directing and coordinating the work of a small group of operations assistants to achieve specific operational goals.
This position involves hands-on work, ensuring that team members adhere to standards and supporting the team with any issues.
JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)
Lead a team by assigning tasks based on operational priorities and deadlines. Coordinate with shifters to arrange container deliveries and delegate tasks to operations assistants. Escalate delays in container arrivals or operational challenges to the Assistant Supervisor/Supervisor in a timely manner. Coordination and collaboration within the team and across departments. Support the onboarding and training of new team members in warehouse processes and safety protocols.
REQUIREMENT
Possess of valid forklift license. Basic computer literacy. Ability to work independently, leading a team effectively. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and ensuring best practices across the team.
WORKING LOCATION
Working location: Jurong Island (company transportation will be provided islandwide) Working days: 8am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday)
