Tech Lead – Digital Channels Platform – Full Stack - (220001U3)

We are looking for a hands-on Tech-Lead to strengthen our in-house software development team. Your primary focus will be the design and implementation of major functional and technical enhancements and migrations of a portfolio of modules which are part of our digital applications used by internal users and external clients. You will work as a member of one or two agile squads providing hands-on guidance and governance to primarily API and secondarily UI developers. You will also closely collaborate with Scrum Masters, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Security representatives and other roles to ensure coverage of all SDLC aspects for successful release implementations and stability in production.
Your Responsibilities:

• As a hands-on tech lead you might spend 60%-80% of your time on guiding developers and 20%-40% on individual contribution for all responsibilities listed below
• Design, development, test support and delivery of new features and extensions existing in-house built software components
• Technology migration of selected in-house built software components (e.g. from webservices to microservices, from .net to SpringBoot/ReactJS, from JDK 8 to JDK 11)
• Integration and upgrading of external components provided by external vendors – in close collaboration with vendor’s technical representatives
• Assurance and continuous improvement of code quality and security by code reviews, test automation, improving checklists, conducting RCA and converting into measures, utilizing various code/binary scanner tools and processes, etc.
• Analysing requirements (functional, NRF, technical) and translating them into technical design and estimates in collaboration with business analysts and solution architects – both for short term tactical goals as well as long-term strategic roadmap
• Assessment and POCs for new technologies, new products, new software design approaches
• Level 3 production support
• Ensuring compliance with bank’s standards, reviews and processes
• Grooming and mentoring junior developers
• Minor reporting line administration tasks

Qualifications

Our Requirements: Technical skills and experience:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related discipline
• At least 12 years’ experience in Software Development of which at least 8 years in Web application development
• Deep expertise in development of java / Spring Boot based APIs / Microservices
• Experience in system integration over webservices, messaging and other protocols
• Experience in relational databases, SQL and data modeling
• Experience in UI technologies, ideally ReactJS, or at least vueJS, .net
• Experience in the entire software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, go-live and L3 support
• Expertise in code quality and web application security
• Understanding of hybrid mobile application development (Cordova, iOS)
• Understanding of DevOps tool and practices
• Working experience in Agile project/teams
• Financial technology background is an advantage (not compulsory)

• Demonstration of Engineering culture which includes continues improvement, adoption of best practices, making rational decisions based on facts, realistic assessments and considering alternatives approaches
