Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineers by sharing expertise and reviewing codes
- Provide architectural and design direction of cloud backend infrastructure to ensure performance, maintenance, reliability, security and scalability of code and systems
- Contribute to development of product roadmaps
- Participate and contribute to product ideation, requirements gathering, and develop deep understanding of product and business, along with other stakeholders e.g. project managers, and business development team
- Develop and support application releases in a DevOps setup using Agile methodology
- Set up automated build and deployment with Git, Maven, Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline
Requirement:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience designing and creating robust and secure RESTful web APIs and microservices
- Experience in writing production code in Node.JS preferred
- Strong database skills (e.g. NoSQL, MySQL, Bigtable).
- Experience in software configuration management for automated build, test and deployment (GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins)
- Experience in monitoring and support of production applications to ensure high availability
- Knowledge and experience in management of virtual containers (such as Docker)
- Strong focus on customer experience, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
