We are looking for Sourcy Tech Lead/Senior Backend Developer Based in Singapore, we are a high-growth startup committed to revolutionizing global B2B sourcing and international trade. We\'re on the lookout for a Senior Backend Developer to join our expanding team, reporting directly to our Founder.

Purpose

You will be taking a core role in a multi-disciplinary team that will design, build, and deliver a sourcing platform targeting SMEs across emerging markets. The ultimate goal is to develop a product that supports our customers to meet their daily sourcing needs.

What you\'ll be doing

• Architecting and Implementing: Designing the back-end architecture from scratch, ensuring it\'s scalable, efficient, and aligns with Sourcy\'s vision of being the premier sourcing tool.

• Strategic Technical Oversight: Leading technical decisions that are in sync with business priorities and the product roadmap.

• AI and Data Integration: Spearheading the integration of AI, LLM, ML, and data engineering into our products to enhance sourcing efficiency and provide actionable insights.

• Data-Driven Enhancements: Analyzing customer usage patterns and feedback to refine and optimize the technical aspects of our platform.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with product, operations, and business teams to ensure technical strategies are in line with business goals.

• Mentorship and Code Excellence: Upholding code quality, promoting best practices, and mentoring the tech team to ensure consistent and high-quality output.

What youll need to be successful

• Minimum of 8 years as a backend developer, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or similar role. Demonstrable experience in building, scaling, and optimizing back-end systems is crucial.

• Have experience in developing an AI-powered product using Machine Learning, and a keen interest in generative AI, LLM, and cutting-edge technology in the sourcing domain.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and make tech decisions that drive business growth.

• Proficiency in designing, deploying, and maintaining robust, scalable systems that can handle large volumes of data and user interactions.

• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, with a focus on iterative development, continuous feedback, and incremental improvements.

• Proficiency with AWS/GCP, solid experience in NodeJS / Python Programming Language, Unix Systems.

• Familiar with Devops such as CI/CD, Dockers, and Docker Compose

• Native or fluent in English; proficiency in any Asian language is a significant advantage.
