Singapore American School (SAS) is an independent, non-profit, co-educational day school offering an American-based curriculum for preschool through grade 12 with more than 4,000 students from more than 50 nations and 710 faculty and staff on one campus.
We are seeking temp staff to join our Technology team from 26 May to 15 Aug 2025. This position will be paid a daily rate. Only candidates who can commit to the entire duration will be considered.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Tech Team Summer Temp Staff is responsible for assisting the technology team at SAS in all aspects of the tasks that the technology team undertakes during schools summer break. A non-exhaustive list of roles and responsibilities is as follows:

• Disassemble, relocate, reconfigure current IT devices in classrooms/offices for divisions/departments
• Unbox, asset tag, configure and deploy new IT devices to different divisions
• Assemble and set up carts and other IT device storage
• Cable management for classrooms in the divisions
• Cable management for computers and other IT Devices on carts and cabinets in classrooms
• Tidy IT Central and division device storerooms
• Sort IT devices, peripherals, cables for deployments and disposals
• Move IT devices to E-Waste bins for disposal under instructions and guidance from supervisor
• Performing other duties as and when assigned by the nominated supervisor from the technology team

Weekly Performance Review
The candidate appointed to this role shall have a weekly performance review scheduled with their supervisor. This provides an opportunity for feedback and coaching based on observations around the areas of responsibilities assigned but not limited to:

• Attention to detail
• Presence at assigned locations
• Completion of tasks in a timely manner

Qualifications and Experience:

• Critical thinking, collaborative, innovative, flexible and positive work attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
• Able to work diligently, independently, confidentially and under time constraints
• Positive and growth mindset with ability to focus on details, take initiative, prioritize tasks and have excellent customer service skills
• Experience in working with information technology devices is highly desirable
• Ability to lift up and move items up to 10kg and work with chemical products, tools and equipment to sanitize and clean technology equipment
