Technical Account Management

About the Team:

The Technology Account Management (TAM) role, focused on key issuing and acquiring customer, is aligned with the Mastercard account teams. TAM team members are responsible for all aspects of the technology and operational relationship with the customer and are responsible for the customer\'s overall operational relationship with Mastercard.

The TAM team member has a high degree of business and technical expertise in all aspects of issuing, acquiring and processing technology, releases, contactless, mobile, ecommerce, MDES, MC Send, Mastercom, etc.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of the technology and operational relationship with customers in relation to their Payment Gateway business
  • Acts as a single point of contact for all technical aspects of Payment Gateway for identified customers
  • Establishes working relationships with internal delivery/ implementation teams, customer support teams and customer contacts
  • Partner with Market Development, Product & Engineering, Technology, and all other functional units throughout Mastercard, to manage and/or facilitate implementation of any new product and/or technology enhancement.
  • Helps identify business opportunities through proactive understanding of the customer\'s technology infrastructure and using internal data assets
  • Partners with Account Managers in pre-sales , business planning/reviews and conducts periodic operational reviews for identified customers
  • Provide technical consultancy related to Payment Gateway Integration and Implementation
  • Answer technical queries related to Payment Gateway specifications, enhancement and compliance
  • Provide support to business team on RFP response from technical aspect on Payment Gateway Solution
  • Track and support mandate and compliance related to Payment Gateway Solution
  • Support compliance of localization requirements eg India On Soil (CME and JDS in 2023)
All About You:
  • Minimally 5 years of relevant experience in Technical or IT Delivery and Implementation in a client facing role is required.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and analyse business needs to develop a course of action that effectively integrates technical and business components to yield quantifiable results for Mastercard Worldwide and our client(s)
  • Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships at all functional levels internally and externally.
  • Previous experience in any of these areas are highly preferred: Technical support, Implementation and onboarding support, Testing, or Solution Architecting on Payment Gateway solutions, Integration and onboarding experience on Gateway Merchant solution and platform
  • Project management and implementation skills required; technology and operations related skills desired but not required.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Strong learning agility, multitasker, intellectual curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and working in a cross-functional / matrix environment both internally and externally
  • College Qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science equivalent fields.
