TALH looks after Munich Re\'s Life and Health business booked in Asia and works with reporting team, business unit and data management team to ensure reinsurance transactions are captured and reported efficiently.We are looking for candidates with strong computing/business analytics background to work with technical accountants and automation experts / IT professionals in head office to manage and enhance life Bordereaux management and management information solutions.Your Role:You will support the roll-out of Munich Re\'s new cloud-native Life Accounting Data Intake solution in the APAC region, contributing in the following areas:You will work on selected portfolios to set up the process under LABYou will be enhancing and customizing our data validation framework, using your programming skills in R or PowerQuery / PowerPivot applications.You will work with technical accountants to identify data issues and develop optimal solutionsYou will use and enhance analytical tools by leveraging on the data collectedYour Profile:Pursuing degree in Computing / Information Technology / Business Analytics / Actuarial Science / AccountingPrior knowledge of SQL, MS Power Platforms such as Power BI / PowerQuery / PowerPivot / PowerApp etc is a plusPossess keen interest in cloud technologies (Azure)Experience in life insurance/reinsurance and data handling is an advantageProgramming skills in R, C# or Python are a strong assetPossess curiosity to explore new topics and knowledge - flexible with navigating around ambiguity and push boundariesAt Munich Re, we embrace, and value, the interaction of diverse backgrounds, experience, perspectives and thought.
