Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to join client focusing on application operations, enterprise container architecture, and middleware technologies. This role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, hybrid cloud environments, and government-level security compliance.
Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of one or more application products, including patching and operational support.
• Setup and maintain middleware platforms (e.g., WebSphere) in HA mode in production environments.
• Support and maintain containerized 3-tier enterprise architecture across multiple environments (up to 100 per site).
• Participate in application architecture discussions with build teams, providing integration input for MQ, SFTP, and web services.
• Design, implement, and administer enterprise Kubernetes platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Tanzu, Cloud Foundation).
• Manage container lifecycle: provisioning, image management, repositories, and container-centric service deployment.
• Maintain microservices and web application architectures in hybrid cloud (cloud + on-prem) environments.
• Apply DevSecOps principles and tooling for automation and security integration.
• Define and execute operational processes such as:
• OS and application-level patching
• Operational housekeeping and archival
• Backup and recovery procedures
• Comply with government-level security standards in system hardening, scanning, and posture.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in designing and implementing enterprise container applications on Tanzu/Kubernetes Orchestration platforms.
• Excellent middleware knowledge (e.g., MQ, WebSphere, API Gateway).
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures (cloud and on-prem integration).
• Familiar with enterprise microservices and web application environments.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, patching, backup, recovery, and operational runbooks.
• Understanding of government-level IT security requirements and practices.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
