As a Technical Assistant Manager for planner, you will be managing a team of Design/Coordination Engineers - You will be responsible for the technical side of the Construction projects in Singapore:

My client is a Maincon company, who consistently holds on to a Grade A1 contractor status and is classified as Class 1 General Building. The company has an extensive Construction portfolio, where it encompasses an impressive array of projects across various sectors, from institutional and civil infrastructure to commercial, retail, leisure, and residential developments.

• Manage and lead a team of Design/Coordination Engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve project objectives effectively.
• Coordinate design drawings with relevant consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Review technical issues and provide innovative solutions to ensure efficient progress and high-quality deliverables for building and civil projects.
• Plan, monitor, and report work progress regularly, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring projects stay on track.
• Guide the team in preparing technical submissions related to materials, construction methods, and Civil and Structural shop drawings.
• Resolve construction issues on drawings, collaborating closely with the Architectural, M&E teams, and relevant authorities.
• Implement best practices and industry standards to optimize the design and coordination processes.
• Conduct regular meetings and discussions with the team to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all design and coordination activities.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with minimum 10 years\' relevant working experience with contractors
• Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
• Preferred experience working within LTA rail & road structures protection zones
